Rita Chan is Co-Senior Country Officer (Co-SCO) for China and Head of Consumer & Retail, Asia Pacific Investment Banking at JPMorganChase. She is a member of the Asia Pacific Management Committee and co-chairs the China Operating Committee.
As Co-SCO for China, Rita is responsible for driving the firm’s overall agenda across the China franchise, and helping to bring JPMorgan’s global network and resources to this critical market.
Rita has more than 20 years of industry experience, having led a number of benchmark transactions for large issuers across Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on marketing Chinese issuers to the global market.
Rita holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Economics, East Asian Languages and Civilizations. She is a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese, with proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese. She is also a published author.
