Marcelo Webert is Head of Educational Assessment at SENAI-SP, the São Paulo branch of Brazil’s National Service for Industrial Training. He leads the development of methodologies and institutional indicators that support school planning, quality assurance, and evidence-based decision-making across SENAI-SP’s network.
With extensive experience in TVET (technical and vocational education and training) assessment, Marcelo has designed and implemented large-scale assessment initiatives at the local and national levels. He serves as an advisor to Brazil’s National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (INEP) on TVET assessment and has contributed to the OECD’s PISA-VET initiative. He is also managing the implementation of Brazil’s PISA-VET cognitive laboratory, hosted by SENAI-SP together with SENAI’s National Department and INEP, which will take place in November 2026.
