Dion Smith is the Global Executive Vice President of Partner Ecosystems at Siemens, where he leads the transformation of the company’s global partner ecosystem as part of the ONE Tech Company strategy. With more than 30 years of international technology leadership experience, Dion has built and transformed partner ecosystems for some of the world’s leading organisations, including AWS, Zoom, HP, Dell, Samsung, DXC, and Veritas. Prior to Siemens, he led Zoom’s Global Channels organisation, increasing channel contribution from 9% to more than 65% in just three years.
His career highlights include establishing HP’s first Managed Services Channel, creating Dell’s first Channel organisation, helping propel Samsung from #15 to #1 in market share through partners, leading the global separation of the Symantec/Veritas partner ecosystem, and expanding AWS’ Global Systems Integrator business from US$100 million to over US$5 billion. An internationally recognised keynote speaker, Dion is a CRN Top 25 Global Channel Chief, PCR Channel Chief, and recipient of the Impartner Lifetime Achievement Award. He also serves on the boards of Action for Children and RSPCA UK, and is a supporter of The Kings Trust.
