Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Fluminense Federal University and a Master’s degree in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, specializing in Institutional Policy and Management. He has been a professor at the Fluminense Federal Institute since 1993, where he has served as Campus Director General, Director of Institutional Development and Extension, Director of Strategic Planning and Institutional Assessment, and Pro-Rector for Education, among other roles. He is a member of the Study Group on Access and Retention in Education. He worked at the Ministry of Education’s Secretariat for Vocational and Technological Education between 2012 and 2016, serving as General Coordinator for Strengthening Public Vocational and Technological Education (VTE) Systems and Director of VTE Network Integration. Since January 2026, he has held the position of General Coordinator for the Dissemination of Vocational and Technological Education Indicators within the VTE Assessment Directorate at Inep.
