Project description
The DOSTI PTC programme is an integrated educational initiative designed to establish three specialized laboratories focused on Electronics, Robotics, and Prototyping. The programme provides students, educators, and young professionals with access to modern technologies, practical engineering tools, and industry-oriented learning environments that support the development of technical and vocational skills. The Electronics laboratory introduces learners to embedded systems, circuit design, sensor integration, diagnostics, and hardware development. The Robotics laboratory focuses on autonomous systems, industrial automation, programming, and intelligent control technologies used in advanced manufacturing and applied engineering. The Prototyping laboratory supports rapid product development through 3D modelling, additive manufacturing, digital fabrication, and mechanical design processes. The programme is structured to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world technical application. Through project-based learning and interdisciplinary collaboration, participants gain practical experience in solving engineering challenges, developing functional prototypes, and working with modern industrial workflows. DOSTI PTC supports the preparation of a new generation of specialists for emerging technology sectors, including smart manufacturing, automation, robotics, and digital engineering. The initiative also contributes to the modernization of technical education by promoting hands-on learning, innovation culture, and workforce readiness. By combining accessible infrastructure with applied technical training, the programme creates an ecosystem that strengthens professional competencies and encourages long-term engagement in engineering and technology fields.
